Laatikon ulkopuolelta (Outside the box)
is a dance performance in and around a sandbox
In this performance, dancers conjure up something exciting from the everyday, as a fast-paced dance takes over the playground and the boxes spin in the air! Audience is invited to move according to the rules and to invent their own rules if the old ones are not working. The participatory work aimed at pre-school children offers an easily approachable touch on the art of dance and raises thoughts about fairness.

The first performance of the work was on September 18, 2024 for the people of Nahkatehdas daycare center, after which it has been performed in Tampere playgrounds and Henneri play activity center.
